The Junior School was very honoured to host local author, Jane Jolly, today as part of our Book Week celebrations. Jane shared her wonderful stories with us, such as ‘Mama Ocean’, ‘One Step at a Time’, and ‘Radio Rescue’. We enjoyed listening to her read these stories to us. She also talked to us about the processes involved in getting a book published. It was interesting to hear about how long it can take to get books published and the amount of work that goes into creating one. We were surprised to learn that it costs at least $30,000 to get a book published. We are very grateful to Jane for sharing her wonderful work with us.
