Middle School - Years 7 to 9
Middle Schooling introduces students to a variety of curricular and co-curricular activities. Through identifying individual interests and talents, the College develops self-esteem and personal qualities so essential for living in our world. Students develop confidence in their ability to establish and maintain relationships and a positive sense of self. This essential time in a young person's schooling prepares them for Senior Secondary, post compulsory and work pathways.
Our Middle School program for Years 7 to 9 operates at both the Goolwa and Victor Harbor Campuses, with students accessing facilities as required. Victor Harbor students will also attend the Goolwa Campus facilities for specialist subjects such as Agriculture, Technology Studies and Food Technology for specific times in the week. Students will access facilities in the STEP Program (Student Enrichment Program) at both campuses on Friday afternoons.
In Years 7- 9, all studies are compulsory. In Year 10, which is the beginning of Senior School, students may choose to specialise in areas of interest, vocation and post-secondary study aspirations.
In addition, the STEP program at Years 7-10 allows all students to develop skills in the areas of The Arts; Physical Education; Food and Nutrition; Technology; Community Service and many more.
