Outdoor Education

Students at Investigator have the opportunity to participate in a varied and exciting Outdoor Education program as they progress through the College.

Our Outdoor Education program endeavours to provide a range of experiences and skills that are developed and built upon over the years.

Some of the recent Outdoor Education experiences have included:

Junior School

  • Year 2 Narnu Farm Camp (Hindmarsh Island)
  • Year 3 Mylor Camp
  • Year 4 Adventure Camp (Woodhouse)
  • Year 5 Illawonga Camp (Murray River)
  • Year 6 Wirraway Camp (Horseriding)

Middle School

  • Year 6 Wirraway Camp (horseriding)
  • Year 7 Indulkana and central Australia
  • Year 7 Canberra Camp
  • Year 8 Aquatics (kayaking and overnight camping)
  • Year 9 Woodhouse Adventure Camp
  • Year 10 Adventure Challenge Camp (abseiling, orienteering, climbing, bushwalking, cycling, laser skirmish)
  • Year 11 Lightweight Camping Expedition
  • Rock climbing Camp to Mt Arapiles
  • Ski Trip
