ELC – Early Learners
Curiosity | Competence | Creativity
Starting your child at Investigator College during their early years ensures a seamless transition from Early Learning into Junior School.
Following several years gestation, Investigator College is now well into planning for the opening of our new Early Learners Centre in Term 2, 2018.
The service to the whole of the South Coast will be established in two stages – Stage 1 at the Victor Harbor Campus and Stage 2 at the Goolwa Campus. As is the case for all curriculum offerings at the College the two centres will offer the best in contemporary learning pedagogy and draw from the very best of early learning philosophy.
Along with dedicated contemporary indoor learning spaces, special attention will be paid to the development of extensive outdoor Nature Play experiential play areas.
Principal Mr Don Grimmett is excited by the prospect of addressing the learning needs of the families of the South Coast with a complete ELC-12 educational service.
The opportunity to develop a pre-school of learning excellence is significant and exciting. The provision of a program where young children will approach their learning
with confidence in a safe and seamless early years centre is something about which the College is passionate and committed to doing well.
‘Our staff are working enthusiastically on our approach which will draw heavily on the Reggio Emilia philosophy and the Nature Play movement currently gaining considerable traction in early learning,’ Mr Grimmett said.
