Pictured (L-R): Robert Foggo, Colin O’Donnell, Anna Jones, Ian Young, Sarah Kay, Gavin Daniell, Rachel Elliott and Georgina Ashworth.
Georgina Ashworth (Deputy Chairperson) has served with us for two years to date and offers the Board a refreshing view of good governance
gained from extensive experience as an administrator in our health system.
Gavin Daniell (Treasurer) joined our Board in late 2017, coming to us with a wealth of experience in business at a local and national level.
Gavin sits on our Finance committee and his no nonsense approach to numbers serves us all well.
Rachel Elliott (Chairperson) has served on the Board since 2012. Rachel is a director of a national property valuation firm and has been a parent
at the College since 2003 – the year that the Victor Harbor Campus was established on the Bacchus Road site.
Anna Jones (Secretary) is a local barrister and solicitor who has served on the Board since 2012. Anna has a deep commitment to our College and her straightforward
legal view is invaluable. Anna chairs the Policy and Governance committee, and her most enduring work has been the re-writing of our Constitution – a massive task!
Sarah Kay (Public Officer) was appointed by the Association in 2018. Sarah has lived in Goolwa for some 14 years and is a parent of the College.
Sarah’s expertise is in Senior Management and Human Resource Management in both profit and not-for-profit organisations.
Colin O’Donnell joined the board in June 2019. Colin has been a member of the local community for the past 10 years. He served in the Defence Force in the Army
and retired from military service after 20 years. He is currently the President of the Southern Breakers Soccer Club.
Ian Young is a licensed Anglican Priest who is in semi-retirement and offers the Board a wealth of experience in the church and extensive Board experience
within a range of for profit and not-for-profit organisations. Ian is our second South Australian Anglican School System appointment.
