One of the most important investments we can make as parents is in the education of our children. The provision of a safe learning environment that nurtures and develops our future citizens and leaders is a fundamental responsibility that we at Investigator College take very seriously.
From the appointment of expert staff, to the provision of excellent facilities and from the passion to improve our service to the development of great programs, Investigator College is currently the school of choice for over 200 families on the South Coast.
Low fees
Investigator College is a low fee school due to a high level of Government support. The fees as outlined on the Fee schedule apply to the first child from a family attending the College and there are fee reductions for second and subsequent children.
Enrolment fees
Where the College is in a position to offer a place for new students, each family is asked to pay an Enrolment Guarantee Fee. This confirms the enrolment and 'guarantees' the child a place at the College. The Enrolment Guarantee Fee for students from Reception to Year 12 is $200 ($100 for families eligible for School Card).
The Enrolment Guarantee Fee is refundable on completion of schooling or one term's notice of withdrawal.
Sibling discount
Discounts are given for the second and subsequent child in a family:
- 2nd child 20%
- 3rd child 30%
- 4th child 40%
- 5th and subsequent 50% discounts apply
Early payment discount
The fees are set each year by the College Council, and are payable in advance at the commencement of each of Terms 1, 2 and 3.
Attractive discounts are available for prompt payment.
School Card
Investigator College offers generous fee levels for those families who qualify for School Card concession. It is the responsibility of each family to establish its eligibility for School Card assistance with the Education Department. The College is able to assist families determine the likelihood of their qualifying for this allowance.
Financial Assistance - Principal's Bursary
Families who are not eligible for Government Assistance, but who require financial assistance, should not be deterred from applying for enrolment for their children. Consideration of a bursary, of up to 65%, can be given upon application and suitable financial data being supplied to the Bursar and at the discretion of the College Council through the Principal.
Payment
Payments can be made by cash, cheque, Bankcard, Visa and Mastercard. EFTPOS transactions may only be made at the Goolwa Campus.
Accident insurance
This schedule of fees includes a cost of a school 24 hour Accident Insurance Policy.
Capital Development Levy
A Capital development levy is payable by all students, on a sliding scale, based on the number of children in the family. The levy is charged and payable before the first term. The levy is discountable in the same way as tuition fees.

Building fund
Donations can be made to the Building Fund at any time. All Building Fund donations are tax deductible.
Account in credit reward
Investigator College offers accumulated discount to parents who keep their account in credit. The account is in credit if the balance of all the current dated transactions has a net credit value. Future dated invoiced are not taken into account until they become due and payable. Further details can be obtained from Administration.
