Valuable, Vibrant Volunteers:
Our Parents & Friends Association
Overseen by a dedicated committee of volunteers, our Parents and Friends Association exists to organise social functions for parents, to support College initiatives, to raise funds for the College, and to aid communication between the College administration and parents.
Committee and Meetings
The Committee makes decisions, and draws on the assistance, skills and talents of volunteers from across our College Community, including a designated Parent Representative from each class or Year Level at Investigator.
The P&F Committee usually meets fortnightly, alternating between face-to-face and online meeting formats, with any member of our current Parent/Caregiver community eligible to serve as an Elected Officer, Committee Member, Class Representative — or simply as a volunteer who may be willing to give their time or skills to assist.
Working together with elected committee members, Parent Representatives ensure that contact is made regularly with all parents so that all families feel included in activities both in and outside of School.
Parent Representatives play a key role in assisting both the Parents and Friends Association, and the College as a whole to communicate with other families, helping to spread the word about upcoming events, promote fundraising opportunities, and sourcing volunteers where needed.
