Burgar’s Boat Co is a family-owned business on Hindmarsh Island, specialising in the repair, restoration and maintenance of wooden boats. We take pride in preserving maritime heritage, using traditional techniques and expert knowledge to ensure every detail reflects the vessel’s original character. Founded by Jordy and Sarah Burgar, the company is built on Jordy’s 15+ years of experience in the timber and marine industries, with a dual trade as a Shipwright/Cabinetmaker. We work on vessels of all sizes, from dinghies to paddle steamers, supporting a wide range of clients including local boat owners, Alexandrina Council and SA Water.
