Mothers’ Day Celebrations

Friday, 9 May 2025
There is something uniquely powerful about the bond between a mother and her child. It can be hard to put into words, but it’s easy to see—in the everyday moments of care, the calm reassurance during challenges, and the steady presence that anchors a family.

“To the world, you are a mother, but to your family, you are the world.” Unknown

Whether you’re a mum, grandmother or maternal figure, the role you play is both significant and lasting. We see the many hats you wear—supporter, nurturer, organiser, educator, listener—and the difference you make every day. Thank you for all the ways you support your children’s learning and wellbeing.

Today we had the joy of celebrating our wonderful mums and maternal figures at our annual Mother’s Day Breakfast and classroom activities in the Junior School and Early Learning Centre. The pride and joy on the faces of our students—and the clear love shared in return—are always highlights.

Thank you to our staff and the Parents & Friends Association for organising another fantastic event. The Mother’s Day Raffle raised over $1,000. Congratulations to all the lucky winners!

To those who could join us, we hope you left feeling appreciated and celebrated. And to all mothers and mother figures—wishing you a wonderful day this Sunday.

I will leave you with a few photos from today’s celebrations – enjoy!
