The 2023 Junior School House Competition was a roaring success - or should we say a singing success!

Thank you to the large number of parents/caregivers who joined us and added great atmosphere and support throughout the competition.

2022 winners Wattle opened this year’s competition with very strong singing, showing the skill of the Wattle students with Newsboys song ‘Restart’. Bluegum lifted the tempo with The High School Musical tune ‘We’re all in this together’. Banksia was superb with a very entertaining rendition of ‘I’m Good’ by The Mowgli’s. Waratah blew every one away with their version of ‘We’re all in this together’ finishing the competition on a real high.

The overall winner for best song presentation for 2023 was Banksia, and the House Spirit winner was Waratah.

Why do we run a Junior School House Song Competition? For three reasons – it is a Bullying Prevention Strategy, it is fun and it builds community.

Plans are already underway for the 2024 Junior School House Competition – and we can’t wait!
