Investigator College, working in partnership with Willunga Charter, is proud to announce a long-awaited update to our existing bus network, which will see a new stop established to facilitate pick-up and set-down of students in the township of Myponga.
From Monday 21 August, 2023 (Week 5) our V4 service, which currently services the townships of Willunga, Mount Compass, Hindmarsh Tiers and Back Valley, will begin operating on a new route, which will provide collection points for students and families in Myponga and Sellicks Beach.
Departing from Willunga in the morning, the revised route will see the V4 head westward through Aldinga Beach, travelling south along the coast with a stop in Sellicks Beach, returning inland to service a new stop outside of Myponga Hall, before continuing through Hindmarsh Tiers and Hindmarsh Valley on approach to Investigator College.
The omission of Mount Compass from the V4 route will be offest by a slight change to the existing G3 service which will offer two new stops: one outside of Fleurieu Peninsula Agriculture (FPAG) in the Mount Compass township, and another outside of Harvest The Fleurieu on the main Victor Harbor Road. These stops not only offer greater accessibility for families in the Mount Compass area, but aim to increase the safety of the service, with both stops providing large sidings and better access for students boarding/exiting Investigator College buses.
While there are some alterations to existing stops along each of the updated routes, every effort has been made to keep any inconvenience to our students, parents and families to a minimum, while greatly improving our service and accessibility for families in the northern and north-western Fleurieu Peninsula communities.
