The morning session consisted of field and track events and the afternoon included the finals and relays. The last events of the day were a House against House tug-of-war, and the ‘Investigator Gift’, a 100m race that pitted the fastest students from each age group against each other. With staggered starts, the race was closely contested and provided an exciting end to the day.
Banksia was awarded the Sports Day shield for 2023, thanks to their exceptional teamwork and House spirit. In second place was Waratah, third was Blue Gum, and fourth place was Wattle.
We extend our gratitude to our Parents & Friends for providing a scrumptious BBQ, to our staff for organising a splendid day, and to the parents/caregivers who offered their assistance and support during the event. We also want to say a huge thank you to our volunteer photographers, who did a fantastic job!
